The Credit Controller add on for Sage 50 helps you save time by monitoring your outstanding invoices and sending out reminders at set times. The add-on will email your customer (either before the payment due date, after, or both) and list outstanding invoices and how long they’ve not been paid for.

If a customer has not made a payment after 2/3 reminders, the Credit Controller add on will trigger an internal email so you start chasing by telephone.

With the Credit Controller Add on for Sage 50 Accounts you can;

Automated Emails

The Credit Controller will automatically send out emails using timings specified by the user. This takes away the manual burden of setting reminders and chasing payments yourself.

Customised Email Templates

Customise the automated emails that get sent to your customers to include relevant information. From gentle reminders to threatening legal action if payment is not made, you can tailor the emails to suit your needs.

Using the Credit Controller’s email templates you can also offer various payment options including; bank transfer, PayPal or the SagePay ‘PayNow’ button to make it easy for your customers to pay.

Customer Specific Terms

For customers on specific credit terms, the Credit Controller add-on will react to the set terms and only chase for payment once the terms have been violated.

The Credit Controller is compatible with Sage 50cloud & Sage 50 Accounts (Essentials, Standard, Plus and Professional) v23 (2017) and above.

Internet Connection

A broadband Internet connection with a minimum download speed of 2mbps is essential to keep your Sage software up to date, and to take full advantage of its features.

  • Recommended download speed: 4Mbps or higher
  • Recommended upload speed: 2Mbps or higher

Email integration

To send emails, you will need an SMTP server (e.g. Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, etc.) available.

Sage Drive

Our add-ons work with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50cloud Accounts. However, there are certain situations where Sage Drive can cause discrepancies, so for that reason we do not recommend using our products if you are using Sage Drive. For further information please contact us.
