Sales Executive/Telemarketing

Softext are currently seeking an experienced Sales Consultant who is looking for full time work. Candidate must demonstrate strong skills in all aspects of the role, including pro-actively generating sales opportunities, cold calling, following-up leads and establishing/managing new and existing relationships. Ability to establish relationships and build rapport on the telephone with decision makers e.g. Finance Directors, Managing Directors, Operations Directors etc

This position will involve a large amount of customer, client and supplier contact so good telephone manner is essential along with outstanding communication skills. The hours of work are from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Ensure achievement of new business revenue targets through outbound calling and inbound traffic
  • Receive and process orders accurately and efficiently
  • Make your customers aware of current promotions and cross sell across the product range
  • Amend and update customers contact details accurately on the internal CRM system
  • Take internal call traffic and support the Softext office in both sales and other areas
  • Build customer relationships (New and Existing) through quality conversations
  • Respond to emails within a set SLA
  • General Administration duties
  • Any other request deemed reasonable in the role to support the Managing Director

  • Ability to work autonomously 90% of the time

  • Minimum 2 years proven track record in an Outbound Sales environment
  • Experience of Sage internal and external systems is advantageous
  • Experience of using and understanding the Sage 50 and ACT! Product Range is preferred but not essential

Softext are currently seeking a passionate marketing specialist who is looking for full time work. Candidate must be able to develop and oversea marketing campaigns to promote our products and services which will include updating the ecommerce website, digital marketing, social media and other lead generating methods. Candidate will be the sole marketing specialist at the company so must be able to handle responsibility.

The hours of work are from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Create awareness of and develop our brand
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for use across multiple channels ensuring consistency; website, social, mail campaigns etc
  • Update and edit current content on website, ensuring maximum search engine optimisation (SEO)
  • Run social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement
  • Look after PPC campaigns
  • Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars and exhibitions
  • Maintain and update customer database
  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
  • Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity
